About & Governance

Ayiti Home Link is the platform

Ayiti Home Link is the platform connecting Haitian returnees with verified employment, healthcare, housing, education, capital, and community resources. It is the public-facing service. The name, the data, and the means belong to Ayiti Home Link.

Buzz INCC S.A. — operating & technical partner

  • Buzz INCC S.A. is the partner that builds, operates, and maintains the platform under Ayiti Home Link's direction.
  • Buzz INCC track record: building multilingual, mobile-first, secure digital platforms for social impact in Haiti and the diaspora, serving vulnerable populations.

Who is the data controller

Ayiti Home Link is the data controller. Buzz INCC S.A. is the data processor — it operates the technology under the controller's direction and may not use the data for its own purposes. See the "Accountability" page for contacts and details.

Governance model & partner participation

  • A governance group — partner representatives, a returnee advisory council, and the operator — guides decisions on verification, data sharing, and policy.
  • Partner organizations participate by registering, being verified, signing partnership terms, and helping set service standards.
  • Decisions are made transparently; conflicts of interest are declared and managed.

Data stewardship commitment: if the operator changes

  • The data, the code, and the configuration belong to Ayiti Home Link, not the operator.
  • If Buzz INCC stops operating the platform, everything transfers to Ayiti Home Link or a new operator.
  • Data is exportable in standard formats (JSON/CSV), with no lock-in.
  • At the end of the relationship, the operator must return or erase all data and may not use it again.
No lock-in. The platform and the data stay with Ayiti Home Link regardless of who runs the technology.
